Welcome note
Welcome! We are getting married on Saturday 30th August 2025, in Barcelona, Spain, and your presence is requested to witness the beginning of this next chapter in our lives.
Getting there
Right, first things first. You need to get to Barcelona. If flying, make sure you fly to Barcelona, and not Barcelona Reus or Barcelona Girona.
We'll be getting married in the Church of the Saints Gervasi and Protasi and the Mother of God of Bonanova (try saying that 3 times fast).
We'll then be moving on to Can Cortada, where we'll celebrate over canapes, dinner and drinks.
Can Cortada is about a 10-minute drive away from the church, for those of you driving. A taxi costs about €10, which can be shared between 4 people. There's no Uber in Barcelona. Try Freenow or Cabify for taxis. You can also hail one in the street.
There's also a bus, the H4, which can take you between the two venues. It costs €2.55 for a single trip, or less if you're travelling with a "T-Casual" travel ticket.
Schedule
The Ceremony
6pm - 7pm
Pl. de la Bonanova, 12, Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, 08022 Barcelona, España
The Reception
8pm - 1.15am
Av. de l'Estatut de Catalunya, s/n, Horta-Guinardó, 08035 Barcelona, España
There will be cocktails and hors d'oeuvre, followed by a three-course dinner. After, we'll continue the festivities with an open bar and a DJ.
Where to stay
There are a couple of hotel options near to Can Cortada which will make getting back after dinner highly convenient.
- Hotel Colors is a 2-star hotel just 2 minutes from Can Cortada.
- Hotel Alimara is a 4-star hotel a 10-minute walk from Can Cortada.
For those of you wishing to continue the festivities after dinner, we recommend choosing somewhere more central (Eixample, Gracia, Plaza Cataluyna, Sagrada Familia etc.).
FAQs
RSVP
Please fill out this form to RSVP. If you could let us know as soon as you can if you intend to come, it'd be much appreciated.
Plus ones
We expect that some of you will be looking to take advantage of a weekend in Barcelona and may be looking to bring your partners. We think this is a great idea and encourage it.
However, we have a strict guest limit determined by the size of the restaurant, and so unforunately we're not able to accomodate plus-ones at the dinner unless we've already agreed this with you in advance. If in doubt, please send us a message to confirm.
Weather
Barcelona in August is... yep, you guessed it: hot! Temperatures will be anywhere from mid 20s to mid 30s and potentially above. While we've scheduled the action to take place during the evening, it'll likely stay warm right through till the early hours of the morning.
Dress code
Handsome and beautiful. It's our wedding after all! (This means formal evening wear 👔👗)
Gifts
Your presence at our wedding is all that we ask for! However, if you're able to contribute to this next chapter in our lives together, we'd be extremely grateful. Please reach out to either Will or Elsa for the details. Thanks!
Any other questions
Don't hesitate to send either of us a message!
